Spectorn Global Terms of Service
Pre-publication draft — not yet in force. Registration, checkout and payment are disabled until the contracting operator, governing law, launch countries and effective date are approved. No contract is formed through this draft.

1. Service and eligibility
Spectorn is an AI-security gateway and monitoring service that may scan requests and responses, apply policies, route customer-selected requests to upstream model providers, and present security findings. The service is for users aged 18 or older who can form a binding contract. A person using an organisation account represents that they are authorised to bind or administer that organisation.
Global Free is intended for use principally outside the Russian Federation and only in launch countries approved in the final terms. Eligibility is based on the place of use, not citizenship, nationality or interface language. A user must provide an accurate eligibility declaration. Spectorn may use a local, coarse network-risk match and other proportionate anti-abuse signals to require review, reduce a free quota or refuse the free service. Network geolocation is imperfect, does not reliably identify VPN users and does not by itself prove a person's residence or wrongdoing. A decision does not automatically move or link the account to the separate RU service. The final terms will provide a human-review contact and process for a user who believes a decision is wrong.
The final terms will identify the legal entity providing the service and the law and courts applicable to business customers. Consumers keep any mandatory rights and venue protections of their country of residence.
2. Accounts and authentication
Users must provide accurate account information, protect credentials and passkeys, use individual accounts, and promptly report suspected compromise. Spectorn may require verification, multi-factor authentication or recovery checks. External social login is not required and is not part of the initial Global release.
3. Customer data and model routes
Customers retain their rights in submitted content. They grant the limited right to process it only to provide, secure and support the selected service. Spectorn does not acquire a right to train its own models on customer payloads unless the customer gives a separate, specific agreement.
The customer chooses what data to submit and which model route to enable. The customer must classify the data; provide required notices and lawful bases; obtain intellectual-property, confidentiality, employment, health, financial, government and other sector approvals; and verify that the selected provider and country are permitted. Spectorn may block a route or payload where use appears unlawful or unsafe.
4. Acceptable use
The service must not be used to break law; violate another person's rights; introduce malware; evade access controls; attack systems without authority; generate or distribute unlawful content; impersonate others; or interfere with the service. Security testing is allowed only against systems the customer is authorised to test and within documented limits.
5. AI and security outputs
Detections, scores, route decisions and model outputs are probabilistic and may contain false positives, false negatives, delays or errors. Spectorn is a technical control, not legal, medical, financial or other professional advice, and not a substitute for defence in depth or qualified human review. A customer must not use an output as the sole basis for a consequential decision about a person unless applicable law and a signed deployment design expressly permit it.
6. External dependencies and changes
Availability and functionality depend on hosting, networks, domain and certificate services, payment/email providers, customer systems, upstream model providers and regulator or network restrictions. Spectorn will use reasonable operational care but cannot control those dependencies. Models, providers and features may change or become unavailable; material paid-service changes require fair notice and, for consumers, the cancellation or refund rights required by law.
7. Fees, renewal and cancellation
The binding order page must show price, tax, billing period, renewal, included usage and overage terms before payment. Recurring billing is not enabled in the pre-release product. It may be enabled only after the account provides a simple online cancellation mechanism, required renewal reminders and applicable cooling-off/refund controls.
Business fees are non-refundable only to the extent stated in an order and permitted by law. Consumers receive every mandatory withdrawal, cancellation, refund and remedy right applicable in their launch country.
8. Availability, support and status
No public availability percentage, response time, service credit or penalty is promised. The status page reports observed health and incident information and is not a contractual service level. A service level, support window, credit, certification commitment or regulated deployment applies only in a separately signed enterprise schedule.
9. Suspension and termination
Spectorn may proportionately suspend access to protect users or systems, comply with law, address non-payment, enforce documented free-service eligibility or investigate a material breach. Where reasonably possible, notice, an explanation of the applicable bounded reason and an opportunity to cure or request review will be provided. Consumers are not deprived of mandatory remedies. Customers may terminate through the account or the method stated in their order and may export data as provided by the service.
10. Warranties and liability
For business customers, the service is provided with the express commitments in the signed order and these terms; otherwise implied business warranties are excluded only to the extent law permits. Subject to the exceptions below, the prospective aggregate business liability cap is fees paid for the affected service during the three months preceding the event. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential business loss that was not reasonably foreseeable.
No term excludes or limits liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, death or personal injury caused by negligence, breach of mandatory data-protection duties, or any liability that cannot legally be excluded. Consumer statutory rights and remedies are not limited by the business cap. A disclaimer such as “as is” does not override mandatory law.
11. Compliance and regulated use
The customer is responsible for determining whether its intended deployment is permitted and for obtaining sector approvals, licences, certification, procurement authority and human oversight. Spectorn does not claim FSTEC, banking, health, government, critical-infrastructure or other certification unless a specific signed document proves it. This customer duty does not transfer Spectorn's own legal obligations.
12. Intellectual property and confidentiality
Spectorn software, documentation and branding remain with their rights holders. Feedback may be used without identifying the customer. Each party must protect the other's confidential information with reasonable care and use it only for the contract, subject to lawful disclosure and independently developed or public information.
13. Changes and contact
Binding terms will be versioned and presented before acceptance. Material adverse changes to an active consumer contract will not be imposed merely by posting a new file where law requires notice or renewed consent. Pre-release questions may be sent to security@spectorn.ai until the final operator contact is approved.
